For skiers, fall is a traumatic part of the year. The wait has been long and hard, and now it’s almost over. But it still feels so far away. Together with Haglöfs, Naturkompaniet, GORE-TEX® and Langley, we brought relief. Our solution was a ski experience that we brought to Stockholm, Gothenburg and Malmö. People in the streets could get a taste of what was to come, along with checking out GORE-TEX® latest technology in Haglöfs new ski collection. We also arranged a photo competition on Instagram, the grand prize was a trip with Langley to Chamonix.

They are ranked as one of the leading incubators in the world and they are the result of Chalmers merging several previous accelerators and incubators in to one. The launch was late September and Big Hat has been there all the way, building websites, creating the What If concept and loads of other stuff. Now we’re looking forward to start getting students with drive and brand hot ideas through Chalmers Ventures doors.

Our client Vehco is all about control. They’re in the Fleet Management business, which means that they help transport businesses gather lots of information about their drivers and vehicles. Vehcos latest product is called Vehco Asset and it can track and provide information about equipment independently from a truck or driver. Simply put it means you can track pretty much anything.

Last week Lukas held two lectures about marketing and advertising. One for Venture Cup, Sweden’s largest competition for business ideas, and the other for around 300 marketing students at University of Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law. The latter was a three-hour sitting where Lukas shared his long experience as a marketing executive. Of course we now mock him constantly and call him ‘professor’.

Sweden is 1570 KM from Ystad in the south to Treriksröset in the north. Together with GORE-TEX® we let people start a race to travel the distance together with their Facebook friends. The distance to every new friend that joined the race was added to that race total, and the winners was the chain of happy people to first cover the 1570 KM.

Everything can be made fun with a little thought and passion. We worked with PS Communication to create a mobile game for Lambi where people could win a brand new bathroom for their home. It was great to dig in from the beginning and form the concept, UI/UX, design and of course develop the entire thing. It was adjusted to three languages and desktop, pad and mobile. The results of this little game blew us away, more than 680 000 initiated games, yay!

So we built and app to help people find a new favorite playground and connected the app with public transport to guide them there. The launch of Volvo FMX required us getting these words right, since it was a global campaign. The purpose was to launch the brand new construction truck Volvo FMX in mainly digital channels. It was a first out for Volvo to go strong on the Internet and challenging because of the interactive film and numerous markets. We worked close together with Valentin&Byhr and we were responsible for designing and building the website volvofmx.com.

The points they could use to buy stuff in the Shop. We were involved from the start and built the entire platform. We also provided support, updates, banners and campaigns continuously as well as developing the platform for the Danish, Finnish and Norwegian markets.

They needed a partner for a Melodifestivalen (a show that determines Sweden’s representative to the Eurovision Song Contest) campaign for their client Metro. We helped produced a neat interactive memory game that was much enjoyed and played.

We created a whole campaign complete with social media, campaign website and ads. We called it Prepare for Snow, and that’s what it was all about. People took great photos of their preparations and tagged them to share them on our site. Doing so also meant they were competing for truly great prizes, like starting places for all the races of the En Svensk Klassiker. Completing it means finishing the races Vasaloppet, Vätternrundan, Vansbrosimmet and Lidingöloppet in succession.
